Artist Statement:
In order to be able to be my most authentic self, unencumbered by ghosts from the past, I must have the courage to confront my childhood traumas.
David had the courage to step out to face Goliath, even though the odds of winning were so very low.
This piece represents my journey, as I try to emulate David and show up on the battlefield of my childhood to put the past to rest.
